Unit 33 Primary research analysis

Image
The technique I used for this image is called window lighting, I created this by getting my subject to stand within range of a window that had light coming through it. What I like about this image is the white lighting on their face from the early morning. Not only that but the expression of the subjects face, his posture and that he is the only thing in focus.  Although what I dislike about this image is how I not only framed it but the location I shot in this in because of how the light washes out the background but if I was to take this photo again I would've framed it better preferably by using a tripod and I would use a different location to shoot in. This is my second image which the technique again is window lighting except this photo is landscape instead of portrait. I like this photo because of my subjects expression and the lighting on his face. Although I dislike again how the image is washed out because of the background light. If I was to shoot this again I woul...

Unit 29 Evaluation

Evaluation The first task was for me to plan my idea of summertime and my photo-shoots, firstly I came up with my idea which was fun in the sun! Then I planned my first shoot which was based on an event called the Bradford city water fight which is held each year during summer time when all the children are off school. The second shoot I planned was primarily focused on reflections because during summer the sun shines bright on the water especially at the Leeds canals. The third shoot I planned was of a child holding an umbrella as rain falls down over her, I wanted to do this shoot because I not only wanted to represent sunshine during summer but also rain because in England we mostly have rain during summer. Sadly though I wasn't able to shoot this because my subject went on an unexpected holiday.  My fourth shoot I planned was of children at a park playing on swings, slides and other various things within the play area, This shoot also was cancelled because of the wea...

Bradford city park, Leeds canals and many more. What techniques will you try? Depth of field, and water play. When will you be doing the photo-shoots? July and August. What equipment will you use? Unit 29 Analysis of final images

Image
This image is of a young boy and girl talking and walking through the chaos, I took this photo in Bradford city park on the 8 th of August at 3:46pm and I took this image because these two subjects seemed very joyful and interesting. For this image the techniques I used was depth of field and lighting, I created this by focusing on my two subjects with my 75-300mm this is because with a longer lens zoomed in it blurs the background and foreground of your picture. For lighting I just used the natural light source, the sun. My shutter speed was 1/250 th , my aperture was f/5.6 and my ISO was 100. After I took this shot I then went in to light room and edited the brightness and contrast by 10% to highlight my light and darker areas more. I also edited the vibrancy by 5% because I wanted my photo to be more vivid and cropped to my liking.  I had no problem with the editing process therefore once I edited my photos I was quite pleased with the outcome. With taking the photo i...
