Unit 29 Evaluation
Evaluation
The first task was for me to plan my idea of summertime and my photo-shoots, firstly I came up with my idea which was fun in the sun! Then I planned my first shoot which was based on an event called the Bradford city water fight which is held each year during summer time when all the children are off school. The second shoot I planned was primarily focused on reflections because during summer the sun shines bright on the water especially at the Leeds canals.
The third shoot I planned was of a child holding an umbrella as rain falls down over her, I wanted to do this shoot because I not only wanted to represent sunshine during summer but also rain because in England we mostly have rain during summer. Sadly though I wasn't able to shoot this because my subject went on an unexpected holiday.
My fourth shoot I planned was of children at a park playing on swings, slides and other various things within the play area, This shoot also was cancelled because of the weather and timing of the shoot. My last shoot that I planned was going to be of raindrops falling on a window to represent the rainy weather within the summertime, and this shoot didn't work out because of weather although I still took photos of the window.
The next task we had to do was research location photography techniques with examples of other photographers work. I described and explained about all of the techniques and used photos from various photographers work to show how the images were when using these techniques. The next task involved me to show evidence of my photo-shoots in contact sheet form which I did post on blogger.
The next task I had to do was an analysis of my final 6 images within this I used some of the 5c's which are:
